We are information designers and we believe that understanding precedes action and change.

A multidisciplinary lab

InfoDesignLab is a socially conscious information design firm. Our vision was to establish a multidisciplinary lab that could draw on the experience of an international team of senior professionals in the fields of information design, graphic design, report and book design, science editing, cognitive science, UX/UI design and technical implementation. We have spent the last 15 years providing bespoke information design support to scientists, making scientific knowledge effective and accessible to wider audiences across many platforms.

We collaborate with scientists and activists, with the public and private sector, with universities and the media, with cognitive scientists and science communicators. We teach, run courses and we are active public speakers. Most of the time the goal of our projects is to co-design visualisations that empower specialists and non-specialists to make informed decisions about the big challenges we face as a society: from education to health, from social justice to climate change.
